+ Brady Quinn, Superstar. Has one of the best games of his career, but unfortunately he doesn’t play defense.
+ Jeff Samardzija is a talented wide receiver
+ Anthony Fasano – Hold onto the ball!
+ Tom Zbikowski, punt returner, arm-tackle breaker
+ Reggie Bush, running, running and pushing to victory
+ Slant passing kills until it is stopped
+ Two Tampa didn’t stop USC

Notre Dame, in cold South Bend and a religious, Catholic school versus USC in sunny California known with the reputation of parties and girls. Good football has traditionally, though obviously not always, been typical of either team. Though neither image may be completely true, put yourself in the shoes of that high school senior. I loved Notre Dame …
I loved Notre Dame back then. Stovall, Samardzija, a decent quarterback who knows how to pump-fake, an actual running back, and the heart of the team, Zibby on defense. Everyone knows Notre Dame should have won that game, for the false timeout USC called, for the push, and the lucky break of the ball going out of bounds.
Now we have a terrible, fragile, and self-absorbed quarterback and a piece-of-crap coach who can’t realize that you CAN find players with heart and skill.
